Youth Performance and Educational Opportunities

One of Tryon Little Theater's goals is to provide opportunities for the area's young people to explore the various theatrical arts, including acting, production, and technical skills such as lighting and sound. Theater teaches teamwork and builds confidence—there is a place for everyone.

In addition to offering youth theater classes (on a varying schedule), TLT is proud to be part of the Tryon Youth Summer Theater program, which presents fully staged productions with all roles played by young people. Some of the many shows that have been presented in recent years include "Matilda," "James and the Giant Peach," "Thoroughly Modern Millie," and "The Little Mermaid."

For information about the current schedule for classes, auditions, performances, and other opportunities, please check the Event Calendar.
